Cinnamon Protein Ice Cream for Women Over 50 (Easy High-Protein Dessert)

A sweet tooth doesn’t have to wreck your goals — it just needs a better option. This cinnamon protein ice cream is creamy, lightly spiced, and high in protein, so dessert actually works in your favor.

After 50, the women who stay lean aren’t the ones with the most willpower. They’re the ones with treats that satisfy. When dessert keeps you full and on track, you don’t need willpower at all.

This one blends in two minutes, sets in the freezer, and tastes like soft serve. No churn, no fuss, no guilt.

A Dessert That Keeps You on Track

The base is Greek yogurt and protein powder, so every creamy spoonful is working for your muscles instead of against your waistline. A frozen banana makes it scoopable and naturally sweet, and the cinnamon makes it taste like something you’d order out.

Is Protein Ice Cream Actually Good for You?

When it’s built like this, yes. Greek yogurt and protein powder give you a real dose of protein, the banana adds natural sweetness instead of added sugar, and the whole thing satisfies a craving for a fraction of the calories of regular ice cream. It’s the kind of swap that keeps you consistent without feeling deprived.

How Do You Make Protein Ice Cream Creamy?

Two things: a frozen banana and a good blend. The frozen banana gives you that thick, soft-serve texture without any churning, and Greek yogurt keeps it rich. Blend until completely smooth, then freeze about an hour for the perfect scoop.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • A splash of almond milk

How to Make It

Step 1: Add the Greek yogurt, vanilla protein, cinnamon, frozen banana, and a splash of almond milk to a blender.

Step 2: Blend until thick and completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.

Step 3: Transfer to a container and freeze about 1 hour, until it’s scoopable like soft serve.

Chef Tips

  • Add 1/2 tsp instant coffee for a “latte ice cream” twist.
  • A frozen banana is what makes it creamy — don’t skip it.
  • If it freezes too hard, let it sit 5 minutes before scooping.

When I turned 60, I stopped chasing every fitness When I turned 60, I stopped chasing every fitness trend and found what actually works for me.

After five babies, weight fluctuations and years of feeling stuck… I finally found my rhythm.

🤍30 minute JOINT-FRIENDLY home workouts
🤍Walking 40 minutes a day
🤍Prioritizing protein
🤍Staying consistent. No extremes and no burnout.

At 62, my metabolism is back on track. My body feels strong again, without pain.

I didn’t make these changes in the gym. I did them in my living room, with workouts that are gentle on my joints and help me stay strong as I age.

I’m so grateful to be sharing my journey with other women like me. Those who feel like they’ve tried everything. The ones who want to start over, again.

You’re not alone. And you’re not behind. You’re just getting started.

Strength belongs to every age ❤️
Imagine the propaganda it took us to convince us t Imagine the propaganda it took us to convince us that after 50 was our downfall 💭

Somewhere along the way, we were sold the idea that our best years were behind us. That strength, energy, and confidence were things you left in your 40s. I don’t believe that.

I’m living proof it’s not true 💪❤️

This is what after 50 looks like: still lifting, moving, and showing up for the people I love.

You don’t need to slow down. It’s not too late.

I can walk up stairs, uneven trails, getting up off the floor by myself. None of that happens by accident. It’s the payoff of showing up for leg day, week after week.

I’m not chasing heavy machines or an hour in the gym, just simple moves I do in my living room.

This is just one day of my routine. Comment ROUTINE, and I’ll send you the full week straight to your DMs ❤️🔥

I prefer easy meals that are high in protein, great to meal prep, and can be made in one pot or pan 😅

For me, the easier the better.
